Funeral Assistant PositionExpress Employment Professionals is hiring for two Funeral Assistants for one of the oldest and most respected funeral homes in Delaware. Our client is a family-owned business with four funeral home locations (New Castle, Newark, Delaware City and Middletown). The position is full-time and no experience is required.ResponsibilitiesAssist Funeral Directors to ensure each funeral meets the requests and requirements of the deceased.Ensure familiarity with each individual funeral arrangement, completing pre- and post-funeral checks.Assist with preparation and presentation of the body in a professional, caring and dignified manner.Prepare funeral cars including daily cleaning.Ensure all vehicles are checked both pre- and post-use, ensuring they are fit for purpose and in excellent condition.RequirementsExtremely high hospitality acumen and presentable appearance (daily business attire required)Experience working in a busy service environmentAbility to prove competence in the relevant areas of workCurrent full driving licenseAbility to undertake out-of-hours and weekend workAbility to cope with the emotional demands of the jobFlexibility when called upon to work additional hours at short noticeSend resume to Ade.Lawal@Expresspros.com or call 215 893 1249 if interested.This is a Direct Hire position with benefits including:Regular hours are 8 am - 4:30 pm.
